Staffin is a small quiet crofting village, an ideal place for a relaxing holiday destination. In the village there are two shops, a laundrette and a Post Office. There are several restaurants nearby one of which has an internet cafe.
There is a small beach in Staffin where boat/fishing trips are available during the season. There are many walks in the area allowing you to appreciate the stunning scenery for which Skye is famous.
On the beach at An Corran, Staffin, are some remarkable footprints. They were left by a family of dinosaurs that walked across the sand here some 165 million years ago. Talk a walk or drive to the beach and see if you can find them.
The weird and wonderful rock formations of the Quiraing make it popular with geologists, photographers and walkers.
Why not explore the Staffin Ecomuseum this is a museum without walls; See http://www.skyecomuseum.co.uk/ for more information.
